Quality the DAN-LOC Way

Your operation can't risk failures. You have to know that you're getting quality products that live up to your performance requirements. DAN-LOC goes above and beyond to give you this level of assurance.

There are several stages that go into the manufacturing process, and DAN-LOC leaves nothing to chance with any of them, including the sourcing of our raw materials. All of our steel is made in the U.S. and comes from mills that we know and have worked with for a long time. These mills perform vacuum degassing and controlled diameter reduction to reduce flaws and make the steel cleaner and stronger. Yet, even though we have immense confidence in our suppliers, we still test our incoming material, so you can have immense confidence in our products. We perform Positive Material Identification (PMI) testing to ensure we have received what was expected and that it is manufactured to specification.

From PMI testing on, we handle every step ourselves in our Houston manufacturing facility. We use rigorous process controls in our heat-treating and roll-threading methods to attain the highest level of product reliability. Then we double check our work through exhaustive laboratory analysis. We mechanically test samples from each bolt production run to validate tensile and yield strength, elongation and reduction-of-area percentages, proper Charpy impact values for low temperature applications, and thread geometric integrity.

All of this painstaking validation results in products that perform as intended and consistently exceed industry specifications. And we prove it. DAN-LOC provides customers with certified testing reports from the original mill and our own lab. These reports assure you that the steel was made in the U.S., the products were completely manufactured in the U.S., and that they're of the utmost quality. We believe that our methods provide the highest obtainable level of product confidence.
